Meet RASG Family
We use the term RASG Family to refer to the holding company of our family businesses.
We build on our dreams and ideas and provide space for every extended family member to get involved if they wish.
We respond not only to our needs but also to the situation within the Czech business environment. By diversifying our business activities in different directions and sectors, we aim to sustainably diversify business risk and minimize potential fluctuations.
We rely on a proactive approach and perceive the company as a lighthouse that guides the way.
We are building the company to provide a foundation for anyone who wants to pursue their goals.

The story of the family business has been going on for 30 years now.
We follow in the footsteps of our parents, whose entrepreneurial journey began right after the Velvet Revolution in the early 1990s.
Today, the family business is led by the second generation of founders.
Over the past almost two decades, we have built a successful brand of Czech diaries and notebooks called CLEVER MINDS, to which we dedicated all our attention. This was part of our effort to revive the family business and foster its growth.
From our original focus on printing and advertising, we have expanded into several other areas over the years, where our companies now operate.
We remain a small business with big ambitions.

1993 - We are on the start
Our initial entrepreneurial experiences began in the field of xerographic services and printing with the establishment of a small studio in Prague's Vinohrady district.

In 1995, we opened our own printing press.
After two years of rapid growth, we opened our own printing facility in Karlín, equipped with sheetfed offset printing and a new six-color flexographic printing machine. We ventured into the world of packaging.

In 1999, we founded an advertising agency.
We expanded our service offerings for clients and established a sister company providing BTL (Below The Line) services to the customers of the printing press, which is now known as RASG.

In 2012, we closed down the printing press and turned our attention to new projects.
This year, we did not renew our machinery, and after nearly 20 years, we are discontinuing the operation of our printing press.

In 2014, we founded a new brand of diaries and notebooks called CLEVER MINDS.
An original idea originally created for the personal use of the founder and creator of the brand, Jan Straka Sr., sees the light of day and marks the beginning of a highly successful era.

In 2019, we opened an incubator for our projects.
After several years of hard work on the CLEVER MINDS brand, there is a revival of activities and the creation of RASG Invest incubator. Under its wings, two projects emerge - Standswood as a woodworking venture, and Pixbo Studio as a photography and video studio.

In 2020, Standswood s.r.o. and Pixbo Studio s.r.o. were established.
In 2020, both projects were transformed into subsidiary companies with their own production programs.

In 2022, we are establishing a representation for foreign brands.
At the end of 2021, an opportunity arose to represent certain foreign companies and brands in the food & packaging sector. In 2022, a new business entity, RASG Trading s.r.o., specializing in international trade, was established.

In 2023, we are opening a production studio in Prague.
In 2023, we opened a new production studio where we produce various types of content for both companies and freelancers. We also offer full studio rental services.

2023 - Real Estate and Us
In 2023, a new company, RASG Property Management s.r.o., was added to the structure, specializing in property management and rentals for both our own and external projects.
